The Faculty of Economics and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Freiburg invites applications for a Full Professorship (W 3) for Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology.
This professorship is particularly suitable for highly qualified early career researchers.
The professor is expected to have produced internationally respected research in the field of Educational Psychology. In the context of use-inspired basic research, the research should be both theoretically and practically relevant. We are seeking an innovative researcher conducting research in the field of human sciences applying the latest methods, who has secured external funding, and who had their work published in high-ranking international journals.
For the bachelor study program in Psychology, the professor will cover Educational Psychology in a broad sense. For the (general) master program in Psychology, we expect a contribution to the program’s profile.
The professor’s research will be connected to research in the Department of Psychology, and to the Faculty, as well as other research priorities of the university.
Prerequisites for the employment of professors are a university degree, an outstanding dissertation and excellent publication record. Substantial achievements and experience in academic research and teaching at the Habilitation level according to the German academic system are expected.
